Performance and Applications |
Low viscosity, low freezing point, heat resistance, relatively high flash point, expansion coefficient, superior electrical performance (anti-corona, the average high pressure). For large power capacitor insulation impregnation and plasma bags, infusion bags isolated anti-sticking additives, surgical treatment of the base oil, cosmetics and skin care, and other additives such as frostbite injury. |
In addition to have the general characteristics of methyl silicone oil, it also has good thermal stability, oxidation resistance, lubricity, radiation resistance, low freezing point and water stability. It can be used as raw material for high temperature lubricating oil and grease, used for insulation, lubrication, damping, shock prevention, dust prevention and radiation protection of high heat carrier silicone oil for nuclear power plant.

3. Packaging, Storage and Delivery
The product should be packed in clean drums , package is 25kg or 200kg/Drum or 1000kg/IBC drum .
It should be stored in dry and ventilate place, away from naked light and directsunlight. The product should be transported as non-dangerous material.
Shelf life: 3 years. It still can be used after being tested and qualified when exceeding the shelf life.
Methyl phenyl silicone oil is a type of organic silicon compound with low viscosity and high antioxidant properties. It is stable at room temperature and does not easily react with other compounds. The main uses of methyl phenyl silicone oil include as a lubricant and industrial additive, used to increase the performance and viscosity of lubricants, form protective films, and have good smoothness. In addition, it can also be used as a raw material for high-temperature lubricating oil and grease, for insulation, lubrication, shock absorption, dust prevention, radiation protection and other applications. The method for preparing methylphenyl silicone oil is generally through methylation reaction, which involves reacting phenylsilane with chloromethane or bromomethane to produce phenylmethylsilane, and then reacting with silicon hydride under alkaline conditions to produce methylphenyl silicone oil. When using, attention should be paid to protection to avoid irritation to the eyes and skin. When storing, avoid contact with strong oxidants and high temperatures to prevent fire and explosion.
