Factory Sells Best Quality Propargyl Chloride 624-65-7 with USP

Introduction:

Propargyl chloride is an organic compound with the formula HC2CH2Cl. It is a colorless liquid and a lacrymator. It is an alkylating agent that is used in organic synthesis. The product is an important chemical intermediate

Structure:

From propargyl alcohol and phosphorus trichloride reaction. To heat the oil, phosphorus trichloride, add dry reaction vessel, below 20 ℃ and propiolic alcohol and pyridine mixture, add after, heat reflux, 4 h after the reaction, to join in the ice water, to water, oil layer with sodium carbonate water window and to pH = 5-6, points to the water, then through washing, drying, atmospheric distillation, collect 52-60 ℃ fraction and finished products. Raw material consumption quota: propargyl alcohol (95%) 1360kg/t, phosphorus trichloride (96%) 1350kg/t. [Method] by propargyl alcohol in the presence of pyridine and phosphorus trichloride action.

Application:

It can be used to synthesize pharmaceutical uridine, and it can also be used to make pesticide soil fumigant; currently it is used to synthesize electroplating intermediates, pharmaceutical intermediates and pesticide intermediates. It itself is an excellent metal corrosion inhibitor and rust inhibitor; chloropropyne is an intermediate of pyrethroid and propargyl.

Propargyl chloride may be used as propargylating agent in the preparation of arabinogalactan propargyl ethers with degree of substitution up to 1.8. It may be used for the in situ preparation of propargyltrichlorosilane and allenyltrichlorosilane, required for the synthesis of optically active allenic and homopropargylic alcohols. Propargyl chloride solution may be used for the enantioselective synthesis of enantiomerically enriched homopropargyl alcohols

Applications

Propargyl chloride is an efficient propargylating agent. It generates propargyl radicals by the pulsed laser photolysis.

Propargyl Chloride, a colorless and flammable liquid, is a three-carbon alkylating reagent and also an equivalent of acetone carbene ion. It is a cyclization reagent and, when converted to a metal-organic reagent, becomes an alkynyl or propadiene nucleophile. Acetylpropyl chloride is obtained by reacting propargyl alcohol with phosphorus trichloride and can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis.
